Toby Jones and Anthony Boyle star in a new one-off BBC drama tonight based on the real story of Brian Wood, a soldier falsely accused of war crimes. 

Elsewhere, financial expert Martin Lewis meets with some savvy savers who are trying to keep costs down through means such as reusing rain water and toilet paper. 

Davina McCall’s doing some myth-busting on the menopause on Channel 4 and talking about her own experiences too.

The competition continues on Sewing Bee, as does Johnny Vegas’ glamping mission.

Martin Lewis’ Extreme Savers – 8pm – ITV

Extreme Supersaver 73-year-old Eric Hawkins takes saving water and money very seriously by taking advantage of a free commodity - rain. He collects every drop he can and has managed to cut his water bills by thousands over the years. (ITV)

The money saving expert meets some thrifty Brits who have come up with interesting ways to keep their spending down. 

The programme features saver Lee, who was so fed up with flight luggage costs he had a special coat made to put his belongings in as well as he 73-year-old Eric who has slashed his water bills by collecting and using rain water. 

Lewis also speaks with a woman whose family uses reusable toilet rolls.

Anthony Boyle stars in this new drama based on a real soldier’s journey from hero to alleged war criminal after being falsely accused of abuse.

Jones plays the lawyer investigating the supposed wrongdoing, Phil Shiner, who has since been struck-off.

Eight sewers return to the sewing room to take on three more challenges for Children’s Week. 

They must make a toddler’s romper suit from a pattern consisting of some tricky techniques before letting their imaginations run wild in the Transformation Challenge as they turn adult wet suits into Under the Sea themed fancy dress. 

Finally, some junior models are wheeled in for the Made to Measure as they prepare to create a child’s raincoat.
