Amazon shoppers are rushing to buy a heating gadget that slashes energy bills which was recommended by Money Saving Expert . The site recently shared its top tips for ‘heating the human not the home’.
Among the suggestions on how to keep warm were to wear the right clothes and to use electric blankets, heat pads, and footwarmers.
Money Saving Expert figured out the cost of using various heating methods, including heated insoles, USB hand warmers, electric gilet, microwaveable wheat bag, hot water bottle, reusable hand warmers, electric heat pad, electric footwarmer, and an electric blanket.

One of the cheapest was USB gloves, which cost less than 1p per week. Amazon sells Rehomy USB Heated Gloves, and they are currently £1 off at £14.99. To use them, all you have to do is plug them in to a USB port on your PC, power bank, or charger.
The gloves heat up to around 40C. They have a half-finger design so you can work while keeping your hands warm. You can find the gloves here.
