CRAVING a cheeky Nando’s? Fingers twitching for a bucket of KFC?
I asked discounts expert Jordon Cox, Britain’s Coupon Kid, for his tricks to score money off your fast-food favourites.
MAX YOUR BIG MAC SAVINGS: Hold on to your McDonald’s receipt to get a Big Mac and fries for £1.99 instead of £3 on your next visit. Follow the link on the receipt and fill out a short online survey about your experience to generate a code. Write this on your receipt and hand it to the cashier next time to claim your discount. You can also choose a Fillet-O-Fish or Veggie Deluxe and fries for the same price. Then repeat the process.
DOWNLOAD A DISCOUNT: Sign up to the MyMcDonald’s app for lots more deals. You can often get items for 99p including a Quarter Pounder, Chicken McNuggets or McChicken Sandwich. Right now there’s 20 per cent off the entire menu until Friday. .
SAVE: £4 on a £20 spend
FINGER-LICKING DEALS: Download the KFC app for the first time and you’ll get three chicken stamps straight away – which is enough for a free side. You could claim a free small Popcorn Chicken, two hot wings, a soft drink, hot drink, sundae or regular fries. You can also get 15 per cent off by filling out a survey after each order.
SAVE: Up to £3.99 with app
PERI TASTY: Get £10 off a Nando’s order of £15 or more through Deliveroo if it’s your first time using the takeaway delivery service with the code FOODNOW10 until March 13. Selected locations only but you can also use the code for other restaurants on the app.
ROLL WITH IT: In the mood for a Greggs sausage roll? Order it to takeaway and it’ll cost £1 instead of £1.20. Plus, sign up to its Rewards app to get a free hot drink and a sweet treat on your birthday.
SAVE: Up to £1.90 on a drink
