It’s that time of year when beauty advent calendars begin making their way on to shelves across the store and money saving expert Martin Lewis has shared how you can get early access to one of the season’s must-haves.
In the latest newsletter on MoneySavingExpert.com, Rhiannon Moorhouse has shared shopping hacks on how you can get one of the pricier advent calendars for less.
She writes: “Beauty advent calendars are significantly pricier than chocolate ones, but they’ve become increasingly popular in the last few years as a way of bagging beauty products at a fraction of the normal cost. They often sell out early, but can also be heavily discounted later.”
When it comes to beauty products No.7 is one of the most popular brands sold within Boots and Moorhouse shared some handy secrets on how you can bag both advent calendars worth £187 and £384 before they sell out, and for less.
Boots know how popular the No.7 calendars are, so, this year they made the decision to release two for this festive season – they do say the best things come in pairs.
One calendar will contain £184 worth of beauty products and, with the early access, you could get your hands on it for just £47.
The other calendar is a little pricier as it contains products worth £384 for just £120, and Boots has described it as the ‘Ultimate’ calendar.
The best method to get early access to the exclusive buys is to sign up now.
She writes: “No7 beauty Advent calendars are mega-popular with MoneySavers. As they always go quick, sign up to the No7 waiting list online by 11.59pm on Wed 13 Oct and you’ll be sent a link to get access to buy either of its 2021 calendars online at Boots between 3am and 11.59pm on Fri 15 Oct only.”
This will give you early access before any other shoppers, as the advent calendars will be launched in-stores and online several days later on Tuesday, October 26.
To manage demand you will only be allowed to purchase two of each calendar during the pre-sale.
After the pre-sale the £120 ‘Ultimate’ calendar will only be available online, but the £47 one will be available both in-stores and online.
This year’s products have yet to be fully confirmed but Boots has revealed that five products included will be Intense Volume mascara (7ml, full-size), Protect & Perfect intense advanced day cream (25ml, mini), Early Defence glow activating serum (30ml, full-size), Laboratories line correcting serum (5ml, mini) and Lip and cheek tint (10g, full-size).

Although Boots have not confirmed the products included in either calendar, Moorhouse has said: Although Boots won’t confirm or deny our guesses, we reckon in addition to the five items above you’ll also get face or eye masks, cleansing wipes, eyeliner and lipliner, a concealer, blusher, a nail polish, as well as day and night cream.”
As for the Ultimate Calendar? That’s anyone’s guess, as Boots are keeping quiet on the exact products until Friday.
Think that’s the only good news? Think again.
Boots have once again hidden a golden ticket in ten of their calendars and the lucky winners will be able to get a further £1000 worth of No7 products.
