Martin Lewis, founder of Money Saving Expert, has announced a major career move.
The consumer champion, who usually advises ITV viewers on all things finances on shows such as Good Morning Britain and This Morning, will be joining the other side of the panel.

Martin has announced he will be joining GMB as a guest presenter alongside Susanna Reid.
Following Piers Morgan’s shocking exit from the show in March, several hosts have stepped into his shoes, including Richard Madeley, Adil Ray, Bill Turnbull and Alastair Campbell.
And now it’s Martin’s turn as he prepares to “ask” questions instead of “answering” them for the first time in 15 years.
Sharing the news, GMB said: “He’s the most trusted man in Britain and we can’t wait to have him at the GMB desk. Martin Lewis joins Susanna Reid from Monday 28th June until Wednesday 30th June.”
Martin added: “For 15yrs I loved answering questions on GMB, now I’m stoked to get a chance to ask ’em, as guest presenter; both on key consumer issues eg scams, plus I’m up for holding power to account on all issues.”
While Good Morning Britain editor, Neil Thompson, explained: “Trust has been and continues to be hugely important throughout the pandemic, and I can’t think of many people more trustworthy than Martin Lewis.
“Our viewers rely upon us to deliver the very best breaking news, debates and entertainment into their homes each morning, and they will no doubt welcome seeing Martin – a journalist and broadcaster at the top of his game – sitting at the GMB desk this June.”
Martin quickly reassured his fans, however, that the commitment wouldn’t be permanent.
He told his 1.1 million Twitter followers: “And just to clarify, I’m excited and honoured to be guest presenter, but definitely not looking for the full time job. I’ve other important commitments, never mind I like my sleep too much.”
It comes after Richard Madeley also confirmed he wouldn’t be stepping into Piers’ shoes full time either.
Richard told ITV’s Lorraine a permanent role was “not on the agenda” during a recent interview.
“I’m basically doing what I’ve done before, which it to fill in,” he explained. “They’ve given me a lot of nice dates, I’ll be doing it this month and next month and maybe even into August, which is great.
“Everybody is speculating on what’s going to happen now Piers is gone and I know no more than you do, I really don’t.
“I’m not being defensive I just don’t know and I’m very happy to do it the way I’m doing it at the moment.” You can read more on this here.
Piers quit the breakfast show in March this year after storming off set when challenged by weatherman Alex Beresford over his Meghan Markle comments.
Since then no permanent replacement has been announced by ITV, but a rotation of presenters have hosted alongside Susanna.
Martin Lewis will guest present Good Morning Britain from Monday, June 28 to Wednesday, June 30.
